You can get rear bars from other Subaru's in most any size from 15mm (2010-2013 Outback) to 19mm (2008+ STI). I wouldn't pay more than $50 for one of the Subaru offerings....

The red is anti-corrosion spray, not battery acid. Unfortunately, in your case, it isn't working. I have the same red stuff on my car that is all stock, and it's been like that since brand new.

It seems some folks have had issues with motor mounts being melted, all the exhaust heat is on the passenger side and so are the passenger side motor...

I've got it both (OFH, OFT) but there isn't much to hear. It's a little ratty at startup (the same complaint that everyone has with headers). After the initial cold start, you hardly know it's there....
